We are registered with OFGEM to install gas pipework, meters and any other associated equipment up to a pressure of 7Br. There are only a few welders in the UK coded to weld pressurised gas pipes- if your welder isn’t qualified, your installation is therefore non-compliant.

The ability to weld pipes on site, in situ means no need for the incredibly expensive compression type fitting systems or flanges, reduced downtime and therefore reduced costs.

All Gas designs are audited by DRM before works commence -ensuring all work carried out is in direct compliance with all associated regulations and safety standards.

The moment we receive the go ahead, work commences from our office to ensure all pre-project co-ordination is ready to ensure a smooth installation process.  Pre-assembly of plant room Boiler Skids and pre-fabrication of all large diameter gas pipework is undertaken. This means by the time the site work begins, its modular, organised, and installs are made to look effortless.

It is common for miscommunication on site to lead to errors in positioning, and as a result the intended parts of the gas pipe installation no longer do the job. DRM will come to site and build the part you need – test it and install – then commission the line for you.

Our inhouse consultancy professionals are prepared to manage the entire gas installation works – ensuring compliance with up-to-date regulations, this often ends up costing less than these emergency welding jobs as errors when working to such specific specifications are less likely to occur.
